The battery in the AER Dryer is not user-serviceable and must be disassembled only by an approved technician. In addition, as with all lithium-ion batteries, the battery in the AER Dryer may experience a degradation of performance with excessive use. The firmware in the AER Dryer will lessen some of this degradation, allowing for a longer battery lifespan. The AER Battery may also become warm when charging or discharging, causing a warm feeling in the body of the dryer. This is normal. If excessive heat is detected, the AER Dryer will limit use until the dryer has cooled sufficiently. To avoid interruption, please keep the dryer firmware updated.
