Using the Cold Shot Feature

Your AER Dryer has a Cold Shot feature that allows you to quickly get unheated air from nozzle. Drying your hair is commonly used to help seal the hair cuticle and setting your final look so it will both hold and add shine.

When Should you use Cold Shot?

Many stylists recommend switching on Cold Shot when your hair is approximately 80% dry, or to lock in curls or waves.

How do you use Cold Shot?

To engage cold shot, simply press the Cold Shot button once. The Cold Shot feature will remain engaged until you press the cold shot button again, or until you turn off your AER Dryer. You do not need to hold down the Cold Shot button. The temperature indicator lights will turn blue when Cold Shot is engaged.

When you disengage Cold Shot, your AER Dryer will return to your previously selected heat settings.
